1. When you need students’ attention quickly, blow the harmonica, raise your hand in PAX, and wait for everyone’s attention.
2. Thank students for their quick response and cooperation.
3. Be sure to have everyone’s attention before delivering instructions.
4. For groups or individuals who have trouble giving attention right away, try performing PAX Quiet nearby or giving them a head’s up that PAX Quiet is coming soon.
