Communities and families can make a difference—with cost-effective, simple-to-understand and to use procedures. The cumulative validity of PAXIS systems is made from components, which have been tested in different places, by different scientists, and even under different names, just like aspirin has powerful effects, regardless of it’s trade name. By combining these components with common language, procedures and linkages across the entire community, the system as a whole has a synergistic effect.

Here is an example of integration. The PAXIS School System has daily honors, and these daily honors list can be emailed in a special form to a local TV station, radio station or newspaper. The internet form also provides certificates for the honored students or staff. Same forms also allow for a school to include local business sponsors who support the school to be mentioned.

PAXIS K-8 School Climate System

The PAXIS School Climate System is designed from years of scientific research about what actually works to improve resiliency, behavioral efficacy, leadership and academic achievement in children and teens. Proven ideas are found in a series of simple, easy to use "Tool Boxes", that include a major emphasis on improved learning readiness, and improved behavior on the playground, cafeterias and other transitional areas. Reproducible art and applicable science are on a CD-ROM. Clear linkages to home and community are included in the package.

Most of the Tools or Tool Boxes inside of the School Climate System are scientifically validated. Some are Level 3 (published in peer-reviewed scientific journals); some are Level 4 (have undergone meta-analyses in peer reviewed publications). Still others are at the highest level, Level 5, which is multiple replications in peer-reviewed publications. Sometimes, PAXIS includes specific tools from best practice sites which are not scientifically tested, but which mesh very well with studies. Tools may be delighted in updates or altered, based on new findings.

PAXIS "Community Mobilization" System

The mobilization system enables the entire community to create a shared vision, language, tools and procedures to reduce serious youth problems and enhance community well being. Participants might include: community groups, educators, public and mental health professionals, social service agencies, civic groups, law enforcement, faith communities, parents, etc. An invigorating week-long series of workshops will lay the foundation for an integrated proactive response to your community’s future. School- and media-based public information campaigns on such issues as abduction safety improve overall safety and well-being.

PAXIS Parenting & Literacy System

Thomas Jefferson wrote that the future of the Republic depends on a literate citizenship. The PAXIS Parenting System also harnesses several decades of sensible, practical science to mobilize community-wide literacy promotion for preschool-age and primary grade children and their families.
